Elkhart Plastics, Inc. Hires Cullen Jones as Director of New Product Development

ELKHART, IN – Elkhart Plastics Inc. (EPI) is pleased to announce the hiring of Cullen Jones to the newly created position of Director of New Product Development. Jones previously worked for EPI from 2005 to 2010 when it operated as Promens North America.

Working with the entire EPI team to create innovative products, solve customer problems, and expand into new markets, Jones will primarily work out of the South Bend, Ind., and Littleton, Colo., facilities.

Jones brings 25 years of experience in new product development as well as the sales and marketing of packaging and material handling for both liquid and dry products to his new role at EPI. A graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California, Jones spent the last 10 years as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Bonar Plastics/Snyder Industries. Prior to that he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Intertape Polymer Group based in Sarasota, Fla., for 11 years.

“I am pleased that Cullen has rejoined the EPI team as Director of New Product Development,” said Jack Welter, CEO of Elkhart Plastics. “We are eager to put his plastics and manufacturing knowledge to work developing additional products for new and existing markets.”

Jones said, “I am excited to rejoin the EPI team, one that is focused on building long-term relationships with employees and customers. As I have visited the facilities I have enjoyed seeing many familiar faces and am eager to renew those relationships. I look forward to the opportunity to be part of a team that will develop new products for a wide range of markets.”

In his free time, Jones enjoys golfing, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family. He and his wife live in Sarasota, Fla.

One of the largest custom rotational molding companies in the United States, Elkhart Plastics has six plants and more than 600 employees nationwide.
