Zonin1821Miami, Florida (March 18, 2016) – ZONIN1821, Italy’s largest privately owned wine company, is honored with the 2015 Impact HOT BRAND Award and will receive the prestigious award at the 2016 Wine and Spirits Wholesalers Association conference in April in Las Vegas, NV.

ZONIN1821’s flagship brands, Zonin Prosecco and Castello del Poggio, have received this prestigious achievement for remarkable sales growth and performance in the U.S. marketplace by M. Shanken Communications; the brands will be recognized in both the March issue of Impact and the April issue of Market Watch.

This esteemed award is given yearly to the best performing wine brands. “We are honored to receive this important award from Impact and are thrilled with the phenomenal success of both Zonin Prosecco and Castello del Poggio’s Moscato,” said Tim Matz, General Manager and Vice-President, Zonin USA, Inc.

“Consumer response to both Zonin Prosecco and Castello del Poggio Moscato have been extremely positive and we have seen our sales continue to accelerate in the short term,” stated Matz. “We are truly excited that we accomplished this goal so quickly.” Matz added, “Moscato, as a gateway wine, is a trend that is here to stay and it’s known to make a sweet story for success. A beloved wine among millennials and new to the consumer category, its fresh and simplistic sweetness is reminiscent of a summer peach. What makes this so exciting is that it’s bringing new consumers to the wine category and shows no signs of slowing down.”

As a HOT BRAND Award winner, ZONIN1821 is considered one of the leading producers of Italian sparkling brands in the U.S. market – from 2003 through 2015 the company saw a 23% growth increase in Zonin Prosecco and 21% increase in Castello del Poggio in 2015.
