California Distributor to Carry Award-Winning Spanish Wine Line, Bodegas Lleiroso
RAMONA, CA, MARCH 15, 2016 —HPS Epicurean, a third-generation company specializing in the importing and marketing of international spirits, wines and culinary niche brands, announces a new agreement with Epic Wines & Spirits to distribute the Bodegas Lleiroso wine line in the California market beginning March 1, 2016.
This nationally and internationally recognized wine producer from Ribera del Duero, Spain has been a part of the HPS Epicurean portfolio since 2014. Founded in 2012 by industry veteran Henry Preiss and his daughter, Nicole, HPS Epicurean aspires to establish a company that is truly epicurean by fostering a fresh perspective and appreciation for the finer, artisanal side of life. The Bodegas Lleiroso line was carefully selected by the Preiss’ because of the winemaking company’s unwavering philosophy: producing the highest quality wines possible and targeting those sophisticated consumers that aspire to a superior lifestyle.
Situated at the “Golden Mile”, this small, family-run winery produces 100% Tempranillo wines, crafted from the only the best grapes year after year. Since 2001, the team has been carefully selecting the finest grapes form vineyards located in Valbuena de Duero, Pesquera del Duero and the highlands of the Ribera Burgalesa in order to produce innovative and elite wines that satisfy the most demanding palettes. - Lleiroso Crianza 2011: 100% Tempranillo, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and another 12 months in bottle, making this wine the perfect blend of fruit and wood
- Lleiroso Reserva 2009: 100% Tempranillo, flagship of the Bodegas Lleiroso line
- Lleiroso Special Reserva Sergio Hernandez 2009: 100% Tempranillo, only the best grapes are selected for the Special Edition. This wine is shaped with the renowned Mexican artist Sergio Hernandez, creator of the labels used on this line.
