6th Annual Decanter Wine and Racing Festival Set for April 16 at Laurel Park

New Venue but Same Terrific Event 

Decanter Wine Racing FestMarch 15, 2016 (Baltimore, MD)- Watch and bet on live turf and dirt horse racing while sipping on some of the best wines from across the state at the 6th Annual Decanter Wine and Racing Festival, taking place on April 16 at a NEW location…Laurel Park (198 Laurel Race Track Road, Laurel 20724) from 12 pm- 6 pm.  The event, sponsored by the Maryland Wineries Association, allows guests to sample a wide variety of wines and cider from over 20 Maryland wineries, browse wine & equine themed arts and crafts, enjoy live music, dine on local fare and experience live horse racing at the newly renovated and remodeled Laurel Park Race Track. In addition, there will be a “best-dressed” contest each day for both men and women, where winners will receive two tickets to a future Maryland Wine event and a pair of tickets to the Black-Eyed Susan Day Flute Club concert.

General admission tickets are $30.00 and include admission to the event and tastings throughout the day.  The Decanter Pass VIP ticket is $50.00 and includes an upgraded wine glass and samples of exclusive Decanter wines from each attending winery including new releases, limited productions, premium label wines and more!  On-site parking is FREE and the event will take place rain or shine. The Maryland Wineries Association is a non-profit trade organization representing Maryland’s 70+ wineries. Founded in 1984, the MWA’s mission is to develop and expand the grape and wine industry in Maryland through events, education and promotion. From the Eastern Shore to Deep Creek Lake, wine is growing throughout Maryland.
