On the heals of winning DOUBLE GOLD medals for their 2013 Estate Syrah and 2013 Syrah Reserve at the 2016 San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition, Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards is featured in the Feb/March 2016 issue of SOMMJournal.

While the focus of the article highlights Reustle’s Six Nations Wine Challange First Place Trophy win for their 2012 Syrah, SOMMJournal reveals Reustle is adept at crafting Grüner Veltliner as well.  SOMMJournal’s Tasting Report highlights current releases of Reustle’s Syrah and Grüner as well as older vintages.

When asked about the article, Owner/Winemaker Stephen M Reustle, stated he liked the SOMMJournal piece and “It is an honor to be featured in such a prestigious publication as SOMMJournal.  We hope their feature article encourages wine lovers and Sommeliers alike to appreciate the quality wines coming from the Umpqua Valley AVA.”
