BevX_300x200_ALL_animatedHEALDSBURG, CA (January 20, 2016) – US Beverage Industry Expo, (USBevX), the conference that will take on the topic of the “new normal” in the alcohol beverage industry, recently announced Wine & Spirits Magazine and Beverage Media Group as the conference’s media sponsors.

“Having two of the most reputable industry publications support USBevX, with their cross-category coverage and audience reach, allows us to share our topic of the ‘new normal’ in alcohol beverages with key trade and interested consumers,” notes George Christie, President and CEO of US Beverage Industry Expo and Wine Industry Network.

Founded in 1982, Wine & Spirits is published eight times a year and read by over 200,000 members of America’s wine community. Consumers and wine professionals read the magazine for information on established and up-and-coming regions and producers, the art and science of viticulture, industry happenings and food and wine pairing. Wine & Spirits, the only wine publication to win the James Beard award five times for excellence in wine writing, evaluates more than 13,000 bottlings every year.

Beverage Media Group publications combine timely, in-depth national and local editorial coverage with brand and price listings from distributors. Reaching 33 markets and almost 90,000 on- and off-premise trade members combined, the publications provide a unique “local advantage” and give suppliers and distributors the opportunity to target their key customers.

USBevX will gather beverage producers, thought leaders and policymakers from the Beer, Cider, Spirits and Wine categories to establish a cross-industry dialogue designed to chart a course for success in the “new normal” of the rapidly evolving beverage alcohol industry.

Disruption in the industry, fueled by the explosion of new brands, new business models and new producers, are the drivers of the conference agenda. From a deep dive into the data that highlights the blurring of the lines between the categories, to how breaking the rules and challenging status quo has benefited some of the most successful emerging beverage brands, USBevX promises to be a provocative and insightful foray into how producers should think about their business.

Speakers include wine media personality and star of Check Please! Bay Area television show, Leslie Sbrocco; Legal Sea Foods VP of Beverages, Sandy Block; Global Beverage Buyer of Whole Foods, Doug Bell; Tuthilltown Spirits Founder, Ralph Erenzo; Founder and CEO of Virtue Cider, Gregory Hall; author and Partner at EatBigFish, Mark Barden; President for Nielsen CGA, Jon Collins; Founder and CEO of Demeter Group, Jeff Menashe; Founder and Partner of Hinman and Carmichael Law Group, John Hinman; Executive Director of the California Craft Brewers Association, Tom McCormick; President & CEO of Pavone Marketing Group, Michael Pavone; President of Bevology, Steve Raye, and many more industry experts all prepared to share their knowledge.

The format for USBevX is interactive, with a blend of keynote and plenary sessions followed by in-depth workshops, with ample time devoted to Q & A and networking opportunities.

Simultaneous to the conference, a cross-industry trade show will feature more than 125 of the industry’s leading exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services available.
