Episode 1- Woodinville Wine Country: https://vimeo.com/120917977

In this video, WINERAM Productions’ Colin West goes back to his hometown to rediscover what this wine region is all about. Nestled between the ocean and the mountains, Colin explores the activities that go on at wineries in the winter months. Colin serial tastes wine in the Woodinville Wine District while meeting up with Allen Shoup & Gilles Nicault from Long Shadows Vintners. Now at Long Shadows, every vintner that Allen brings on board makes a wine of their specialty. Together, they talk about what makes wine unique in that region and what happens in the winter after harvest with the bottling, blending and other important attributes. Long Shadows blends not just the wines, but the world-class winemakers that make it with one thing in common-  Washington fruit. This episode ends with Colin split boarding/alpine touring up one of the most important pieces of winemaking equipment – the Cascade Mountains- with brothers from split board company KARAKORAM and winemaker Gilles Nicault.

About Colin West and WINERAM Productions

Award-winning Founder and Director Colin West started the wine focused film production & PR company WINERAM Productions LLC over four years ago while working down in Central Otago as a Sommelier for New Zealand’s most awarded wine list. With two undergraduate degrees and one MBA in Wine that had zero film studies, it meant his experience had a stronghold in wine. He studied wine with the Frescobaldi wine family in Italy before going on to achieve the Wine-MBA at the Roseworthy Waite Wine Program of South Australia. After a few sommelier positions in well-awarded restaurants, he had an idea for a TV show, rounded up a film crew and went on to produce some of the world’s most highly viewed wine documentaries and TV shows. ABC International, HULU, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Wine Spectator, Wine Business Monthly, Gourmet Traveller WINE are a few of the areas his content has aired. Colin also has written articles published in Barossa Living Magazine, Grape Collective, Honest Cooking Magazine and other international publications to complement his videos. Colin West is now completing production on a feature documentary called “VINTAGE” that has been in the works since 2012.
