Jay Jensen, CEO of Novavine, announced today that Michael Monette of Napa, California has joined the sales team at Novavine. With Michael comes his sales associate of over a decade and a half, Christine Palmberg.
Michael has worked in agriculture for 22 years, over 17 years of that in the grapevine nursery business. A Business Administration graduate of Pacific Union College in Angwin, Michael participates in numerous industry associations and organizations. He is a familiar face at meetings such as Sonoma and Napa County Vineyard Technical Groups and CDFA Grapevine Regulation modification meeting. He and Christine are also involved with the local Farm Bureaus and organizations including Napa, Sonoma, Lodi and Mendocino grape grower associations.
“I believe that customer service is a priority and have worked for years to build strong customer relationships,” says Monette. “The Novavine vision—providing the industry with the best vines possible, produced in an innovative and sustainable way—feels like a perfect fit. I love selling grapevines with a passion, and I am excited to be part of the fantastic team here at Novavine.”
Joining Michael at Novavine is his sales associate Christine Palmberg. A Cal Poly Agricultural Business graduate, Christine has been in the nursery business for almost 20 years. She is excited about joining this local business in her native Sonoma County. Like Michael, Christine takes an avid interest in the workings of the industry and is involved in many industry associations and events.
Christine prides herself on customer service efforts. “I have developed many lasting business relationships through these efforts over the years,” says Palmberg, “I believe it is a critical aspect of success and I am excited to work together with the team at Novavine to achieve our goals!”
