The Maryland Wineries Presents the 4th Annual Winter Wine Event at B&O Railroad Museum
January 6, 2016 (Baltimore, MD) – Looking for something fun to do in January after the hectic holidays? Get out and enjoy some great local wine! Join us for the 4th Annual Winter Wine event, sponsored by the Maryland Wineries Association, on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6- 10 pm at the B&O Railroad Museum (901 W. Pratt Street). The event will feature samplings from over fifteen different top Maryland wineries who will highlight a vast array of sparkling, red, white and dessert wines. Tickets are $65.00 for the “All Aboard Roundhouse Tasting” (7-10 pm) and $80.00 for the “Sparkling Wine Reception + Roundhouse Tasting” (6-10 pm) and are available by logging onto www.marylandwine.com or by calling 410-252-WINE.
Winter Wine at the B&O Railroad Museum will also feature stationary and passed hors d’oeuvres, live jazz music, and an opportunity to mingle and talk with wine makers and winery owners, while also experiencing the splendor of an historic museum. Al Spoler, Host of WYPR’s “Cellar Notes”, will be on hand and serve as Guest Curator, showcasing his picks for the event.
For the VIP Pre-Reception from 6-7pm, ticketholders will have the opportunity to get to know Maryland’s best traditional and non-traditional sparkling varietals and learn about méthode champenoise. (tickets for the VIP Reception are limited)
