WINERAM’s Flagship Series Wins “Best Food or Beverage Program on the Web”
Sonoma, CA, USA (December 22, 2015): On December 9, 2015, the 7th Annual TASTE AWARDS announced the Special Achievement Award winners and General Category Award Winners. WINERAM Productions won the Best Food or Beverage Program: Web for its “WINERAM USA” series (formally called “Uncorked” at the time of the award). The series was filmed in the western United States. On January 3, 2016, WINERAM will air the first of the 5-episode series with Honest Cooking Magazine which celebrates lifestyle, adventure, and wine production and winter tourism in wine regions located in Washington, Oregon, California and Colorado.

The Annual TASTE AWARDS (also known as the TASTY Awards) in Hollywood celebrate the year’s best in Food, Fashion, and Lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, Online, in Apps, and on Radio (read the official TASTE AWARDS press release). WINERAM is pleased to receive the Taste Award for the WINNER in its category out of seven nominees and numerous entries. The Taste Awards are the highest awards in the lifestyle entertainment broadcast industry which celebrate the year’s best achievements. The Taste Awards red carpet event is set to be held at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco, California, on February 11, 2016.
About Colin West and WINERAM Productions
Award-winning Founder and Director Colin West started the wine focused film production & PR company WINERAM Productions LLC over four years ago while working down in Central Otago as a Sommelier for New Zealand’s most awarded wine list. With two undergraduate degrees and one MBA in Wine that had zero film studies, it meant his experience had a stronghold in wine. He studied wine with the Frescobaldi wine family in Italy before going on to achieve the Wine-MBA at the Roseworthy Waite Wine Program of South Australia. After a few sommelier positions in well-awarded restaurants, he had an idea for a TV show, rounded up a film crew and went on to produce some of the world’s most highly viewed wine documentaries and TV shows.
