Napa, Calif.—Jamie Watson, a partner at Napa-based wine industry and estate planning law firm Gaw Van Male, has completed certification in estate planning, trust and probate law. Watson’s certification adds strength to the firm’s robust estate planning services in Napa Valley. Watson was named partner at the firm earlier this year.
Watson joined Gaw Van Male in 2008 as a senior associate with a law degree from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 2008. He specializes in the areas of wealth preservation, elder law, and business succession serving clients in Napa Valley. In addition, Watson works as a lead wine industry law attorney for Gaw Van Male. Watson is a frequent lecturer at seminars on Medi-Cal planning, veteran’s benefits, special needs trusts and high end estate planning.
Marc C. Joyce joined the firm as a trust administration attorney in August. Joyce received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2014 and a B.A. in political science from University of California at Irvine in 2008. Between college and completing his law degree, Joyce worked as a legal assistant and office manager at a law firm.
