Beaverstock Festival 2015, September 19-20 Celebrate Music, Art and Community at Castoro Cellars

BeaverstockBeaverstock, the annual fall music festival hosted by Castoro Cellars brings together two days of music, art, community celebration and family fun September 19-20, 2015. The weekend festival, now in its third year, will be headlined by popular acts Dawes and WAR and features over 15 bands on two stages. More than just the music, Beaverstock serves up local art, yoga and kids crafts. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Templeton Education Foundation. Beaverstock is nestled in the heart of Paso Robles Wine Country along California’s Central Coast and held in the meadow of Whale Rock Vineyard at Castoro Cellars. Beaverstock is a family-friendly event; children under the age of 10 are free with adult admission Tickets are on sale at www.castorocellars.com.

WHO: Beaverstock Festival 2015 at Castoro Cellars, The Udsen Family: Niels, Bimmer and their sons Max and Luke. Members of the family and some bands may be available for interviews upon media request.

WHAT: Live music is the heart of Beaverstock and this year’s lineup was built around bands that put on amazing live shows. Guests will enjoy a diverse group of celebrated artists, from Dawes, The California Honeydrops, Sambada to long-time favorites WAR.  The Stomping Grounds stage will feature local bands One Time Spaceman, The Turkey Buzzards, Bear Market Riot, Chris Beland, Samba Loca and Guy Budd with Inga Swearingen.

Beaverstock guests will enjoy Castoro Cellars wines and local craft beverage favorites – Firestone Walker, Toro Creek, Barrelhouse and Bristols Cider. Several gourmet food trucks and food vendors will be on site for guests to purchase food during the two days. Spend time in the Artist Grove, an expanded collection of local artists including workshops, an art inspired lounge and yoga sessions. Beaverstock prides itself on being much more than a music festival but a true experience for all ages alike.

The proceeds from the festival go to a cause near and dear to the Udsen Family’s hearts, the Templeton Education Foundation (TEF).  TEF is a nonprofit organization that directly benefits the students in the Templeton Unified School District where both Max and Luke attended from first grade through high school graduation.

WHEN: Experience Beaverstock Festival Saturday, September 19 – Sunday, September 20, 2015 from Noon -10 p.m. Tickets are $50 for one day or $70 for a weekend pass. Kids under 10 years of age are free with a paid adult ticket.

WHY: In 1983 Niels and Bimmer Udsen founded Castoro Cellars, Beaverstock 2013 was created as a way to commemorate 30 years in business. As longtime lovers of music and the arts the festival was a way to celebrate and to give back to the community that has made the dream of Castoro Cellars a sustainable business model for future generations.

Niels and Bimmer Udsen founded Castoro Cellars in 1983, and today run it with their sons Max and Luke. Located on Highway 46 West and Bethel Road in the Templeton Gap AVA of Paso Robles, Castoro Cellars specializes in sustainably farmed Rhône and Italian varietals.
