Hanna InstrumentsWOONSOCKET, RI- September 9, 2015- Hanna Instruments Announces Educational Program for Winemakers to Improve Testing in Wine.

Recently, Hanna Instruments, the world’s most innovative manufacturer of scientific testing equipment, announced the launch of their educational program for wine makers. The program is designed to help make better wine through improved testing practices which are most often influenced by the way the products are used, stored and calibrated. Hanna’s National Sales Manager, Justin Mecys stated: “The wine industry is one of our most important markets. More winemakers are taking part of their in-house testing program for quality and cost reasons. We decided to develop a series of resources to help winemakers with this transition. The resources are helpful for wine makers that are already testing in-house as well.”  Each set of resources highlights why the parameter is important, what equipment is needed as well as calibration, testing and storage steps needed for accurate results. The first educational program covers pH testing in wine. Wine makers can download a free Ebook, access a checklist for use in the lab and watch a video to see the measurement techniques in action.
