qupe_logoQupé, a leader in the production of Rhône-style wines, is proud to announce the introduction of a new Santa Barbara County Syrah (SRP $30.00) from the outstanding 2012 vintage.

Made using biodynamic and organically grown grapes sourced from the best blocks of the winery’s two iconic cool-climate vineyards, Bien Nacido Vineyard and Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard, this new label adds to Bob Lindquist’s already distinguished portfolio of California Syrah bottlings.

Deep and spicy, blue/black fruits, lavender, herbs and black pepper abound on this full-bodied Syrah. Savory, elegant and under 14% alcohol, the balance and structure of this wine truly embodies the cool climate raison d’etre of the Santa Barbara County AVA.

Total production of the Qupé Santa Barbara County Syrah 2012 is limited to 1,600 cases and will be released nationwide during September.
