Napa, Calif.  Diane Rome has been appointed Strategic Accounts Marketing Manager for Hess Family Wine Estates, where she will create tailored programming for the wine group’s largest partner accounts.

Over the past two decades she has led a variety of marketing communications, integrated marketing and retail sales and marketing efforts for notable wine, food, and consumer products companies.

Most recently she served as Manager of National Promotions at Constellation Brands, creating national retail promotional programming for a portfolio of twenty wine brands.  Earlier, she managed Direct To Consumer efforts for select brands of Foster’s Wine Estates.

Her broader experience includes assignments with Smith & Hawken as a Brand Marketing Manager, at Amy’s Kitchens as Manager of Trade & Consumer Marketing, as well as marketing roles with The Dannon Company, Jamba Juice and Birkenstock Footprints Sandals.

Diane is a graduate of Syracuse University in New York, holding a Bachelor of Science degree.  A resident of Novato in Northern California, she will work from The Hess Collection winery in Napa.

Hess Family Wine Estates produces terroir driven wines featuring The Hess Collection on Mount Veeder in the Napa Valley;
Hess Select with notable wines from Monterey and California’s North Coast;
Artezin from Mendocino and the North Coast;
MacPhail Family Wines, with Pinot Noir & Chardonnay expressions from the Sonoma Coast and Mendocino’s Anderson Valley;
Colomé and Amalaya from Salta, Argentina; and Glen Carlou from Paarl, South Africa.
