Sonoma Carneros’ leader also introduces premium still wine package
Sonoma, CA (August 13, 2015) — Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards is debuting two new wines under the Etesian label, a line of still wines from Sonoma County focused on the on-premise trade. Crafted by Gloria Ferrer’s Winemaker Steven Urberg, the Etesian label includes a Sonoma County Pinot Noir and now a newly launched Etesian Pinot Noir Rosé and Chardonnay. Named for the Etesian wind that tempers the warm days of summer in the eastern Mediterranean near the Ferrer family’s native home of Spain, grapes for these wines benefit from the moderating influence of the Pacific Ocean, which cools the vineyards of Sonoma County, promoting superb natural balance and a well-developed fruit forward style.

New Label for Gloria Ferrer’s Still Wine Portfolio
A new package design for Gloria Ferrer’s Carneros Estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay is also hitting shelves nationally and will roll out through the holiday season. The new still wine package features an updated contemporary label with richer colors and more contemporary fonts, additional embossments and a harmonious color palette. Updated labels for the winery’s core sparkling portfolio were introduced in October 2013.
