Benicia, CA – July 24, 2015 – Cork Supply USA is delighted to announce the hiring of Derick Lee as Continuous Improvement Engineer at their Benicia headquarters and production facility. Derick will help the company further develop their Lean Manufacturing, oversee ISO systems, manage nonconformance, and train staff. As an experienced Kaizen Event facilitator, he will lead seminars that emphasize a philosophy of continuous improvement in manufacturing.
Derick comes to Cork Supply USA from E&J Gallo Winery, where he most recently served as Technical Project Manager in charge of new products. Other roles at Gallo included continuous improvement team leader, chain sales representative, bottling line and cellar processing team leader, and packaging systems engineer.
