The Sanger Family of Wines Names Olivier Tonnerre as Consilience Regional Sales Manager

Sanger Family WinesJune 10, 2015, Los Olivos, California Rick Morrison, National Sales Manager for Consilience/Sanger Family of Wines, is pleased to announce that Olivier Tonnerre has joined the group’s national sales team as its Consilience Regional Sales Manager.

“We are excited to welcome Olivier into our family” says Morrison. “He will work closely with Wine Warehouse to expand our reach in the California market. His knowledge, experience, and strong contacts at all levels of the wine trade will bolster our regional foundation as we broaden our national distribution program.”

Tonnerre, a native of Caen, in France’s Normandy region, originally visited the USA to attend World Cup matches in 1994. He loved California so much that he never returned home. Finding work in restaurants, his then-burgeoning interest in wine led to positions around the state with Southern Wine & Spirits, Forcade & Hecht, and Gregory Condes before joining Sanger. Fluent in French, Spanish and English, he is also a semi-professional tennis player.

Says Tonnerre, “I look forward to working with Consilience and the Sanger Family of Wines and introducing a new group of people to these wines. I intend this to be a long road, as I plan to finish out my career here.”

The Sanger Family of Wines is owned by Bill & Jan Sanger and is based in Los Olivos, California. The Sangers’ wine brands include Consilience, Marianello, and Tre Anneli, plus estate-grown Lucca olive oil, flavored oils and vinegars, each produced under the Marianello label. The Sanger Family of Wines tasting room is 2923 Grand Avenue in downtown Los Olivos.
