HORSHAM, PA (May 5, 2015)…Meriden Smucker has been appointed as a regional sales manager for Saxco International, LLC, it was announced here today by Rob Belke, vice president of sales. She will be directly responsible for the day-to-day sales functions and new business development for Saxco customers in the beer, wine, spirits and food industries located throughout the Upper Mid-West Great Lakes region of the United States.
Smucker rejoins the packaging industry after a year of serving as a trade marketing manager for the largest global manufacturer of private label drugs, Perrigo Company in Allegan, MI. Prior to Perrigo, Smucker spent three years at Owens-Illinois driving United States and global business development through glass innovation and brand strategy with retailers and private label manufacturers in the food category. Additionally, she received seven years of classical consumer product goods training at Kraft Foods in various sales, marketing and consumer service roles on the Walmart account in Bentonville, AR and San Juan, PR.
She is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford, OH where she earned a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration.
