Crusher Wine DistrictNapa, California – April 30th, 2015 – Crusher Wine District (CWD), a cutting-edge collective of boutique, urban wineries in the south district of Napa Valley, announces the appointment of Anne Mullaney as Executive Director.

She will become the first Executive Director of the Crusher Wine District, a not-for-profit marketing group constituting 10 members – including Trinitas Cellars & Library, Humanitas Wines, The Wine Foundry, Edict Wines, Mi Sueño, Spelletich Family Wine Co., Y. Rousseau, J. Moss, Avinodos, and Charles Woodson Wines – in the Napa Valley Commons and surrounding industrial area near The Meritage Resort and Spa. In this newly created role, Anne’s main focus will be to promote awareness of the member wineries and manage the organization’s major industry and public events, such as the upcoming Wine Hopper Weekend on June 20-21.  This event will feature the second annual Crusher Games, with whimsical games and fun, unique experiences shared at each winery as you “hop” from tasting to tasting for one inclusive fee. The group will also host a series of 2-day passport sipping events: Wine Hopper Weekends on August 8-9 and November 7-8 are scheduled for 2015.

Further, Anne will work with Pacific Hospitality Group as an Ambassador for the Meritage Collection hotels and resorts throughout California, and Trinitas Cellars in the Napa Valley.

“Anne brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and marketing skills to our growing group of authentic wine families and adventurous vintners with their modern, edgy tasting rooms clustered in an unexpected area of iconic Napa Valley”, says Tim Busch, Founder and CEO of Pacific Hospitality Group, the Meritage Collection and Trinitas Cellars.

While Anne heralds from the tundra of Canada in her youth, she adds: “I am thrilled to be joining the CWD at such an exciting and formative time in the district’s strategic growth plans, and to be able to connect my passion for California wines and the wonderful lifestyle here with my marketing and branding roots.”

Anne began her career in the advertising agencies of Chicago and San Francisco for clients like Procter & Gamble, Levi Strauss & Co., Miller Lite and TAG Heuer.   Before joining CWD, Anne’s background has been focused in high-level marketing consulting and brand development.

Anne’s educational background includes University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross Graduate School of Business Administration.
