The American Fine Wine Competition (AFWC) is the nation’s most prominent and prestigious all-American Wine Invitational. More than 750 wines from the competition will be poured by Wine Angels at the AFWC Charity Wine Gala on April 24th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood.
These very special all-American wines will be poured to guests who will enjoy an incredible evening benefiting Deliver the Dream (www.deliverthedream.org). A magnificent reception featuring sparkling wines, specialty liquor bars, and more than 200 wine baskets at the silent auction will be followed by a wine-inspired gourmet feast, a live auction, and music by the Rock band BREEZE.
Also in attendance will be the six “Winemakers and Vintners of the Year”, all superstars in California. Other winemakers will pour (even more) wine from their individual tasting booths throughout the ballroom. Guests will feel like they are in Wine Country!
A “Sparkling Reception” featuring AFWC medal-winning wines, both sparkling and still, kicks off this exciting evening. Guests can stroll through the hundreds of wine baskets at the silent auction- each bottle signed by the winemaker- and bid on their favorites, they can visit the Premium Wine and Spirits Pyramid and try to win a premium bottle to take home and, during the dinner, participate in the live auction for fabulous wine-themed trips and experiences.
