Michael Kasper Selected To Lead Southeast Division For Hess Family Wine Estates

Michael KasperNapa, Calif. Michael Kasper has been chosen to lead the Southeast Division for Hess Family Wine Estates, covering key southern states including Florida and Georgia.  There are 13 states and the District of Columbia in the Southeast Division territory. His title is Southeast Division Manager.

Kasper is a 14-year veteran of the wine industry, with previous service at the Michael David Winery, The Other Guys and Luna Vineyards.

Most recently he was the Vice President Sales and National Programming for Luna Vineyards in Napa, a producer of distinctive wines including Arnold Palmer Wines, Asylum and Lunatic.  At the Sebastiani Family’s Other Guys, he was the Midwest Regional Sales Manager and earlier, served as National Sales Manager for Everett Ridge Wineries, expanding distribution from 9 to 21 states.  He began his career in Chicago with Vin DiVino, earning sales person of the year honors for two consecutive years before moving on to his first supplier assignment with Michael-David Winery in Lodi.

Kasper is a graduate of the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Il.

The Southeast Division includes Regional Manager Larissa Dubose, based in Atlanta with responsibility for the Carolinas, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama.  Melanie Nicholas is the Regional Manager for Florida, focusing on the state, one of the winery’s largest markets. John Amoroso, a Regional Manager based in Washington D.C. is part of the team and has responsibility for Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C.

Overall, the HFWE Southeast Division serves Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, along with Mid-Atlantic states Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. Kasper will lead the division from his home base in Miami.
