CWAS® features guided blind tasting of more than 60 wines, immersing attendees into Mendocino County, Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Santa Cruz, San Francisco Bay, the Delta, Lake County, the Sierra Foothills, Monterey and San Benito, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and beyond. The CWAS® 3-Day Intensive includes 22 hours of instruction by San Francisco Wine School founder and CEO, David Glancy. It will take place at The Signature at MGM Grand, 145 East Harmon Avenue, Las Vegas, March 27-29 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Daily breakfast and lunch are included, and a Saturday tasting dinner at Honey Salt with David Glancy is available for an additional charge. The CWAS® credential exam will be available online following the program. Students who achieve a passing exam score will be designated California Wine Appellation Specialists® and granted the use of the post-nominal CWAS. The program fee is $1,495.
