Napa insider named Vice President of Sales
Yountville, California, February 2015 – Shane Soldinger joins Silver Trident Winery as Vice President of Sales, according to an announcement by founder Bob Binder. “We welcome Shane to our team as we launch our new approach to wine country hospitality, a unique residential-setting wine tasting,” Binder said.
Silver Trident Winery’s new Napa Valley residential-style Tasting Home, furnished with Ralph Lauren Home, will open at 6495 Washington Street in Yountville in March of 2015.
Shane Soldinger is a certified sommelier who most recently directed DTC Sales & Marketing at Crocker & Starr Winery in the Napa Valley. Shane has also been the GM of Cosentino Winery in Yountville and worked with Oenotri in Napa, where he developed one of the first successful restaurant-based direct-to-consumer wine programs in the country.
In addition to his passion for all things wine, Shane is an accomplished musician and songwriter and has traveled the country with a rock ‘n roll band, shared the stage with some of the music industry’s top songwriters and performers and has licensed songs for TV and film. His band, The Silverado Pickups, is popular at fundraisers and festivals throughout the Napa Valley, including Auction Napa Valley, the Staglin Music Festival for Mental Health, Clinic Ole and Bottle Rock.
Silver Trident Winery is a privately owned boutique winery producing 1,800 cases per year. Bob Binder, the founder of Silver Trident Winery, is also the co-founder of Oceania Cruises. Silver Trident Winery’s co-founder is Swiss-born Walter Jost, an accomplished advertising and media executive. The winemaker is Kari Auringer.
