Josh Ratner Selected To Lead Northeast Sales Division For Hess Family Wine Estates

Napa, Calif. Josh Ratner has been selected as Northeast Division Sales Manager for Hess Family Wine Estates, covering nine key eastern states for the Hess portfolio, which includes The Hess Collection, Hess Select, Artezin and MacPhail from California, Amalaya and Colomé from Argentina and Glen Carlou from South Africa.

Ratner will focus on New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, based from New Jersey, working with the Northeast sales team, which includes Field Sales Managers based in New York and Boston.  He reports to Hess veteran Brian Batridge, Vice President Field Sales.

Most recently he served as an on-premise manager in New York for Moet Hennessey USA, earning two special MH USA President’s Awards. He managed a team which earned honors for Key Account Managers of the Year as well as Key Account Manager of the Year With Best Wine Development.  Earlier, he worked with Allied Beverage managing a portfolio of Tequila Brands, as well as serving as a sales and marketing manager for Red Bull.  Ratner gained experience with Dos Lunas Spirits after beginning his career as the Director of Marketing & Sales for Marbella Suites en la Playa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, serving as President of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

The Northeast Division serves Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.  Adrienne Griffith serves as Field Sales Manager on the Northeast team, based in Boston.  A Field Sales Manager position is currently being recruited for New York.

Hess Family Wine Estates produces terroir driven wines featuring
The Hess Collection on Mount Veeder in the Napa Valley; Artezin from California’s North Coast;
MacPhail Family Wines, with Pinot Noir expressions from California’s greatest growing regions;
Colomé and Amalaya from Salta, Argentina; and Glen Carlou from Paarl, South Africa.
