 Next Generation Wine Company Hires Esteemed Wine Marketer to Grow Business

Honore ComfortFebruary 2, 2015, Sebastopol CA – Brack Mountain Wine Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Honore Comfort as President. Ms. Comfort will join the company beginning February 2, 2015 and will oversee all aspects of business development with a focus on portfolio and marketing strategy and strategic partnership development.

Brack Mountain Wine Company, founded in 2008, produces artisan wines across a portfolio of fifteen brands sourced from among the best growers in California. “We’re excited for her to join our executive team,” says Founder and CEO, Jason Enos. “She brought tremendous leadership, ideas and innovation to Sonoma County, and those same qualities will benefit our winery.”

Honore Comfort brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this position. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts Administration from the Southern Methodist University, Dallas. She began her career in the wine industry as the Director of Marketing for Pezzi King Winery and went on to direct the marketing programs at a number of prestigious wineries such as Australia’s Penfolds and Wynns. In her most recent position, she spent nine years as the Executive Director for the Sonoma County Vintners. There she is largely credited for creating many of the current marketing programs, bringing conjunctive labeling into law and reinvigorating an array of signature events including Wine Country Weekend, Sonoma in the City and the newly announced Sonoma County Barrel Auction.
