Event Focused Exclusively on Craft Beer, Cider, Spirits & Wine

USbevX CapitolLast April, the Wine Industry Network (WIN) announced the launch of a new, Washington, D.C. based event aptly named, the U.S. Beverage Industry Expo (USBevX). This unique trade show and conference is focused exclusively on the Craft Beer, Cider, Spirits, and Wine industries and will highlight the newest and most innovative products and services currently available. From an educational perspective, the conference will focus on the future of the industry and how to harness the latest technology and best practices needed to thrive in the years ahead.

“Our goal is to develop a world class, innovative business event for the beverage industry,” says George Christie, President of Wine Industry Network. “Technology is changing the marketplace at a pace that’s nearly impossible to keep up with, and we aim to make it a little easier for producers by bringing the best and brightest to present at this show.”

USBevX will take place February 16-18, 2016 at the Wardman Park Marriott in Washington, D.C. “We chose Washington, D.C. because travel is easy with many direct flights, it’s essentially neutral ground and will never be confused with being a regional or state show, and most importantly, it’s a place that embodies the American dream, which is what every one of the attending producers are chasing,” adds Christie. “It’s the perfect location. The entire city is essentially a testament to overcoming what initially may have appeared to be insurmountable obstacles, which is something that every successful winemaker, brewer, distiller, and cider maker can relate to.”

The inaugural event will accommodate more than 300 exhibitors and 3,000 total attendees. Educational sessions will focus primarily on marketing, finance, and sales. “We’re assuming that if you’re attending, you already know how to make a good product, that’s a given,” says Christie. “Any producer will tell you that making it isn’t the hardest part…it’s what you do after it’s in the bottle that determines if you succeed or not. Our goal is to make sure you leave with the tools that make success a reality.”

Christie adds, “Nowhere in North America are these four industries growing faster than throughout the East Coast and the Midwest, and although the specific products are different, there’s a ton of common ground. They share the same suppliers and in many cases, especially with regard to government regulations, the same challenges. They also share one more thing, a creative passion to produce the best products in the world, and we’re incredibly proud to support that.”

For suppliers interested in exhibiting, a notification list is available to join at www.USBevExpo.com – booth sales open on Wednesday December 10.
