Premier Rosé Wine Celebration Scheduled for Miami, New York & Los Angeles

La Nuit en RoseNEW YORK (November 25, 2014) – After the overwhelming success of the inaugural La Nuit en Rosé event held in 2014 in New York City, the world’s first festival dedicated entirely to rosé wines and champagne announces its 2015 program, which expands beyond New York to Miami and Los Angeles – spreading the love of all things pink!

With more than 85 rosé wine labels from 60 wineries in 10 countries –– represented at the 2014 event, La Nuit en Rosé was the largest-ever gathering of rosé producers in the world. More than 2,300 people attended the two-day festival, where they were treated to four separate experiences, each hosted on a luxurious yacht along the Hudson River.  And with an international lineup of wineries such as Château d’Esclans (Provence, France), Wines of Corsica (France), Vranken Pommery (Champagne, France), Mulderbosch (South Africa), Wines of Navarra (Spain), Miguel Torres (Chile),  Ferrari (Italy) and Lieb Cellar (USA) – the 2015 events are shaping up to be an even more diversified rosé experience.

“After the success of the first edition, I am thrilled to expand to two new hot rosé markets, Miami and Los Angeles,” says Pierrick Bouquet, president of ABLE and co-creator of La Nuit en Rosé. “We’ll also bring the experience a step further by involving renowned chefs to create tantalizing dishes to pair with rosé wines.”

The festival couldn’t come at a better time as it seems the U.S. has contracted rosé fever. According to Nielsen data, the summer of 2014 showed record growth in the U.S. of retail sales of imported premium rosé wines (those priced at $12 and above per bottle). For instance, for the 52-week period ending June 21, 2014, sales in this category increased by more than 67% in dollars and 55% in volume.

In addition to expanding to new cities in 2015, La Nuit en Rosé will also offer new ways to celebrate pink wine. Each event will start with a VIP Rosé Wine Pairing Dinner, presented by media sponsor Wine Enthusiast Media, and will be followed by both media/trade and consumer daytime and evening events. The VIP dinners, such as one that will be catered by  Jean-Georges Matador Room in Miami Beach at La Vista Terrace at the Miami Beach EDITION, are specifically designed to elevate the experience by showcasing the beauty of the wines alongside an elegant dinner and in the company of some of the people behind the world’s finest rosé wines.

“Rosé is more than just a wine category, it is a way of life and that’s what unique about rosé,” says Bouquet. “Rosé has made itself inseparable from a summer gathering, a pool party or a barbecue. Close your eyes and sip rosé, you’re immediately transported into a summer paradise. Drinking rosé is the epitome of chic!”

While New York’s La Nuit en Rosé will return to the Hudson River on The Hornblower Infinity Yacht, with water tours and scenic Manhattan as a backdrop, Miami’s La Nuit en Rosé will be held at the newly opened Miami Beach EDITION. While the Los Angeles La Nuit en Rosé location has yet to be announced, it will have more of an upscale rosé picnic experience as it will debut on a beautiful grassy lawn.

The dates for the 2015 La Nuit en Rosé are:

Miami: January 30-February 1, 2015
Los Angeles: June 20, 2015
New York: June 25-27, 2015
*Tickets can be purchased at http://nuitrose.com

Each event will feature up to 40 wine booths with a representative pouring and discussing the wines, themed food stations, a pink cocktail bar, indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a photo booth and entertainment activities including dancing and more. Altogether, the 2015 La Nuit en Rosé will leave rosé wine lovers across the country tickled pink!
