Riverside, CA, July 2014 – IRROMETER Company, Inc., world leader in the manufacture of soil moisture sensing and monitoring equipment for over 63 years, is pleased to announce the addition to its staff of Diganta Adhikari. Diganta Adhikari comes to us from California State University in Fresno with extensive knowledge and experience in water management, environmental engineering, consulting and project management, focused on both government and industry clients. His practical hands-on approach to agricultural and environmental issues promises to benefit the company and its customers through expanded product development and technical support well into IRROMETER’s future.
Besides numerous awards, appointments and industry related affiliations, Diganta Adhikari holds dual Masters Degrees in Industrial Technology and Computer Science from Cal State Fresno and a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology in Itanagar, India. He is also a PhD candidate in Environmental Systems at the University of California, Merced and will be receiving his doctoral degree this fall. His work responsibilities have focused on research projects and regulations related to water conservation; air quality monitoring; land reclamation; and emerging green products testing and evaluation – all important aspects to IRROMETER’s objective of

Diganta Adhikari (or Dig as he is known) and his family will make their home in Colorado and be available for company representation at trade shows, conferences and on various industry committees.
