From great entertainment to interactive education, event promise to be
to support and promote a full afternoon of “Peace, Love and Wine Understanding”
Geneva, NY – The New York Wine Industry Association (NYWIA) is pleased to announce the final schedule of events for their annual fundraiser, Winestock NY. This year marks the industry event’s fifth anniversary, and takes place Saturday, June 28 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm in the beautiful vineyards of Three Brothers Wineries and Estates overlooking Seneca Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine region.
There will be two stages of music going all afternoon, with the headliner band being Thousands of One, an Afro-Soul/Funk/Reggae band whose mission is to change society through music. The Ithaca-based band plays venues throughout the Finger Lakes and the Southern Tier.

Along with the great music, there will be interactive, educational seminars running all afternoon in the Educational Tent. Each seminar is 45 minutes long with a half-hour class followed by a 15-minute tasting.

In addition to the entertainment and education, there will be 18 NYS wineries pouring and selling their wines, along with Three Brother’s brewery, War Horse Brewing Company. Food will be available by Smokin’ Bagg Dare BBQ and Cippolla Romaine Food Cart, along with select local farm and food vendors including Muranda Cheese Company, Apple Grove Farm and Tutto D’Oliva “Everything Olive.”
Tickets to Winestock NY 2014 are $15 in advance and are available only until June 26 through www.winestockny.org and at many Wegmans stores. The three interactive seminars are $10 each additionally, with seating limited to 40 audience members each. Seminar tickets can also be purchased online, or at the event.

Winestock NY is an annual fundraising event thrown by a group of passionate New York wineries to benefit NYWIA (NY Wine Industry Association) and its mission to promote the stability and advancement of the wine industry in New York through advocacy and public education. The festivities, hosted in the scenic vineyards of Three Brothers Wineries and Estates overlooking Seneca Lake, are an open invitation to the public to come share in an afternoon of “Peace, Love and Wine Understanding.” 2014 marks the event’s fifth anniversary, and will take place from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, June 28. New this year are three educational seminars, in keeping with the Association’s goal of education. In addition, there will be two stages of live music, 18 plus NYS wineries sampling and selling in the Wine Tents, and local foods and artisans. Tickets are $15 each in advance, and are available through www.winestockny.org and area Wegmans, or $25 at the door.
