Los Angeles-based Hudson Wine Brokers has appointed McCue to develop a consumer awareness campaign for its MWC brand of wines from Victoria, Australia
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – October 13, 2016 – Hudson Wine Brokers (HWB), a boutique wine importer introducing regional and authentic Australian wines to the U.S., has hired McCue Communications to introduce its MWC brand to U.S. consumers and the food and wine community. HWB, recently nominated for Importer of the Year by Wine Enthusiast magazine, believes MWC is the right brand, at the right time, for people looking to drink premium wines without the premium pricing and pretension.
MWC is a brand of wines $15 SRP from McPherson Wine Company, a family-owned and operated winery in Australia’s most southern state, Victoria. McCue’s primary task will be to raise awareness among wine, food and lifestyle media and influencers of MWC as food-friendly, approachable wines with a distinctly Victorian profile. The agency will also work in concert with partners such as the Victorian Government to enhance awareness of Victoria as a major wine-growing state (roughly the size of Oregon) with more than 20 wine-growing regions.
