STAGS LEAP DISTRICT, Napa, CA July 18, 2016 – The Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association (SLDWA) announced today that its highly limited Appellation Collection, the only Napa Valley wine offering comprised entirely from a single sub-appellation and single vintage, will be released on October 15, 2016. This year’s coveted compilation features one bottle of 2013 Stags Leap District-designated Cabernet Sauvignon from each of the Association’s 20 distinguished association member wineries. The one-of-a-kind offering is available from October 15th through December 15th, 2016, and only 200 sets are available for purchase.
“The 2013 vintage exceeded our vintners’ expectations and is another stellar vintage,” said Remi Cohen, Vice President and General Manager at Cliff Lede Vineyards and President of the Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association. “With a larger than average harvest, our winemakers were able to cull the best grapes, resulting in an Appellation Collection of 20 stunning and sumptuous wines.”
The 2013 Appellation Collection includes one bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from each of the following Stags Leap District Winegrowers wineries: Baldacci Family Vineyards, Chimney Rock Winery, Cliff Lede Vineyards, Clos Du Val, Ilsley Vineyards, Lindstrom Wines, Malk Family Vineyards, Odette Estate Winery, Pine Ridge Vineyards, Quixote Winery, Regusci Winery, Robinson Family Vineyards, Quixote Winery, Shafer Vineyards, Silverado Vineyards, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Stags’ Leap Winery, Steltzner Vineyards, Taylor Family Vineyards, and Terlato Family Vineyards.
The 2013 Appellation Collection is priced at $2,199.00 for the 20-bottle set, with ground shipping included. The Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association is the exclusive retailer of the Appellation Collection and the only American Viticultural Area (AVA) or appellation to offer a vintage-specific assemblage of its wines.
