Sonoma-LoebSONOMA COUNTY, Calif. – On Saturday, May 14, the new Sonoma-Loeb Tasting Room will officially open with an Open House Celebration from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Located at 27 E. Napa St., Suite A, on the Sonoma Plaza, the Sonoma-Loeb Tasting Room is the first tasting room in the quarter-century history of the acclaimed Sonoma County winery. The Open House Celebration, which will feature complimentary wine and food, will be hosted by members of the Chappellet family, who acquired Sonoma-Loeb in 2011.

The Sonoma-Loeb tasting room was designed by St. Helena-based designer Daniel Hale, in collaboration with designer and artist Molly Chappellet. Reflecting the gracious, contemporary character of Sonoma-Loeb, the tasting room features luxurious lounge-style seating, warm, rich woods, dark metals, a polished concrete floors, and a beautiful patio seating area. One of the highlights of the space is an abstract visual piece mounted behind the bar, which was made from reclaimed grape stakes from Chappellet’s Pritchard Hill® Vineyard.

“Our goal was to create an environment worthy of Sonoma-Loeb’s rich history—a tasting room that embodies the quality and craftsmanship of our wines, and the warm, contemporary spirit of our winery,” says Chairman Cyril Chappellet.

During the complimentary Open House, Sonoma-Loeb will be pouring a number of wines, including prized single-vineyard Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from such renowned vineyards as Sangiacomo and Dutton Ranch. Guests will also enjoy a selection of delicious wine-paired light bites from Delhi Belly Indian Bistro.

Following the official opening, the Sonoma-Loeb Tasting Room will be open every Thursday through Monday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. The Tasting Room will offer several different tasting flight options featuring Sonoma-Loeb Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, as well as optional food complements featuring artisan local cheeses.
